FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Separate water main breaks closed two busy roads on the city’s west side overnight.

West State Boulevard near Lindenwood Avenue and Spring Street near the University of Saint Francis were closed in both directions as crews worked to repair broken water pipes. Both mains broke sometime Wednesday morning.

The State Boulevard break was right in front of the WANE-TV studios.

Both roads were closed around midnight and workers reopened both roads shortly before 7 a.m.
