NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WANE) – The Allen County Coroner said the death of a man who was found trapped under the rear wheels of a dump truck in New Haven was ruled accidental.

According to the New Haven Police Department, officers arrived to 7500 S.R. 930 around 9 a.m. Friday after hearing reports of a “party trapped.”

Officers and firefighters found Todd Fritcha, 50, of New Haven, under the wheels of the dump truck. Fritcha was pronounced dead at the scene.

The coroner determined Fritcha died from blunt force trauma. His death was ruled an accident.

This incident remains under investigation by the New Haven Police Department, IOSHA, Indiana State Police, and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
