FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A farm supply store will be making its first appearance in the Fort Wayne market at the former Kroger store on US 24, across from the Village at Coventry.

Susan Samuelson, Vice President of Human Resources for Rural King, has confirmed that the company will be moving into the building.  Rural King plans to open in mid to late April.  Samuelson said the company has been looking at opening a store in Fort Wayne for a while, since they already have locations in Angola, Decatur and Van Wert.

Rural King’s website has listings of job openings at the new store.  Prospective employees can apply online.

The company, which was founded in 1960,  has 70 stores in eight states
