House condemned after police find two meth labs in it

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Police arrested two women after a drug bust at a Fort Wayne home on Thursday.

According to the Fort Wayne Police Department, detectives served a search warrant at a home at 1518 Richardson Street shortly before 11 a.m.

Police said three adults and one child were found inside the home, along with spice, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and two active meth labs.

Officers arrested Tiffany M. Chapman, 33, of Fort Wayne, at the scene. Chapman was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance and possession of paraphernalia.

Chelsea R. Hobbs, 24, of Fort Wayne, was also arrested at the scene. Hobbs was charged with possession of marijuana, visiting a common nuisance and possession of paraphernalia

Police said two people were placed into protective custody by the Indiana Department of Child Services. One of the children was taken to a local hospital to be checked for meth exposure, according to police.

The home was condemned by the Allen County Board of Health following the investigation.
