A man driving a van west on the Indiana Toll Road crossed over the median of the road and vaulted into a semi driving east. The driver of the van was pronounced dead at the scene, and the driver of the semi was pinned in his vehicle for over 30 minutes.

Trucker dies in fiery 3-semi crash

The investigation concluded that a semi tractor-tanker hit a semi tractor-trailer that was stopped on the side of the road. The semi tanker then hit another semi tractor-trailer, which sent both vehicles into the median and causes the tanker the catch fire.
