Police say the collision happened after the driver tried to beat the train early Sunday morning in DeKalb County.
The issue is with a bridge on I-65 that goes through the town of Lebanon, northwest of Indianapolis.
The crash happened on State Road 1 back in April. The driver crossed the center line and hit a vehicle head-on.
The 17-year-old was hit by a CSX train just after 7:00 a.m. in Syracuse. Investigators don’t know what he was doing on the tracks.
Police say the man was texting on his phone on I-65 when his motorcycle crossed into the grassy median, he overcorrected and lost control.
The Owen County Sheriff’s Department says the boy went into the path of an oncoming pickup, and the driver was unable to avoid hitting him.
The street had been closed between Taylor and Covington Road while crews worked to make repairs.
The bus was carrying teenagers from a suburban Indianapolis church when it crashed into the back of an SUV Monday morning.
The accident took place at the intersection of McKinnie and McMillen Park Drive Monday afternoon.
A neighbor doing yard work outside said he heard a large crash and ran to nearby S.R. 124 and U.S. 27 and found two cars had collided.
Two women were hospitalized after the crash. One was pinned in her truck and had to be freed by a fire department.
U.S. 6 between Fair Street and Fairview Boulevard in Kendallville is closed to traffic while police investigating.
