It’s one of the most prolific duos in the entire country – between quarterback Carson Blair and Peyton Trexler – and we are proud to honor the Southwood football team as the Optimum Performance Sports Team of the Week.

The Cavs earned their first trip to the state title game since 2012 and we are proud to honor the Canterbury boys soccer team as the Optimum Performance Sports Team of the Week.

The Spartans clinched the regional title for a second straight year and we’re proud to honor the Homestead girls golf team as the Optimum Performance Sports Team of the Week.

The DeKalb girls soccer team has topped Huntington North (3-2), Leo (2-1) and then Norwell on Monday night and we are proud to honor them as the Optimum Performance Sports Team of the Week.

After surprising even themselves by beating Garrett and Eastside, we’re proud to honor the Busco Eagles as the Optimum Performance Sports Team of the Week.

TOTW: Columbia City Eagles football

The Eagles executed a game winning two-point conversion to perfection on Friday night to cap a fourth quarter comeback on the road, earning Columbia City football OPS Team of the Week honors.

TOTW: Angola Hornets Football

For the first time since 2004, Angola rallied back to beat Leo and we’re proud to honor the Hornets as the Optimum Performance Sports Team of the Week.

TOTW: Bishop Dwenger Girls Volleyball

The Saints topped Wayne (3-0) and Bishop Luers (3-0) before beating Concordia Lutheran in a thriller in the Pre-Season SAC Tournament as they beat the Cadets in five sets.

With all five scores in the 70’s and a total of 298, they earned the impressive regional victory and we’re proud to honor the Saints as the Optimum Performance Sports Team of the Week.
