Messi misses; Chile wins second straight Copa America title

Messi put his penalty kick over the crossbar, Francisco Silva converted Chile’s shootout finale and La Roja won their second straight Copa America title by beating Argentina 4-2 on penalty kicks following a 0-0 tie Sunday night.

Troy Williams, Yogi Ferrell invited to NBA Summer League

Three former Indiana Hoosiers will represent the Cream and Crimson in July at the Samsung NBA Summer League 2016 in Las Vegas. Former Hoosiers Kevin Yogi Ferrell will play for the Brooklyn Nets, Troy Williams will suit up for the Phoenix Suns and third-year pro Noah Vonleh will play for the Portland Trailblazers.

TinCaps start second half with storm shortened win

The TinCaps opened up the second half of their season with a 4-0 win over the Bowling Green Hot Rods (Tampa Bay Rays) on Thursday night at Bowling Green Ballpark. The game was called during the top of the seventh after a tornado warning and a thunderstorm encroached on southcentral Kentucky.
