Former I.U. standouts Christian Watford and Nick Zeisloft are among the 15 players battling for a spot on Fort Wayne’s final roster as the Mad Ants opened training camp on Tuesday.
The 15-man roster includes the additions of Ben Bentil, Alex Poythress, Julyan Stone, and Nick Zeisloft as affiliate players from the Indiana Pacers.
The Fort Wayne Mad Ants added four players to their roster through the 2016 D-League draft.
Bentil was one of Boston’s second-round draft picks in June but was cut before the start of the season.
Al Grushkin was the head coach at Indiana Tech from 2010-14 and had three nationally ranked teams.
