The powerful 8.9 magnitude earthquake that struck Japan is still the center of attention. Since this is a quiet weather weekend, I thought I would share some more information with those of you out there. The NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) has their own website that monitors and posts the latest info on tsunamis. They are the ones that will issue any tsunami warnings for the U.S. Here is their site. http://www.tsunami.noaa.gov/ On that site you can find the model information they used to determine where the warnings were issued.
