Temperatures will move up over the next 24 to 36 hours well past what is considered the 30-year-average. High temperatures will be about 15-degrees above this average on Thursday and 21-degrees above on Thursday. this is all due to Pacific air moving out of the Pacific. Sometimes in the Pacific, this flow of air is called the banana belt, where very warm air comes out of Hawaii and travels to the California coast.
We have the advantage of getting this warm air transported via the jet stream to our area over the next couple of days.
