Breaking down the weekend snow

After the wide rain of snowfall totals from Friday, there is more snow on the way. This snow will come in rounds through the weekend, here is a breakdown of what to expect.

Friday Night:

While most of the snow during the day was confined to our northern counties, scattered snow showers will move across the entire area as we head towards daybreak, snowfall totals up to an inch in many locations will be possible.

Saturday:

Rounds of light snow will be possible through the day, there looks to be a break during the evening hours. Accumulations once again look to be around an inch.

Saturday Night:

Mostly dry until around 5 am Sunday, when our next widespread round of snow starts to move in.

Sunday:

Widespread snow is likely across the area through much of day as it tapers off in the evening. Accumulations of 1″-2″ possible and higher amounts to the northwest of Fort Wayne.

Through the weekend, snow totals look to be around 2″-4″ for a majority of the area. Higher amounts possible in our northwestern counties. Make sure to stay tuned for updates as the snow moves in this weekend.
