Temperatures will fall into the 20s for highs on Saturday and Sunday. That’s a departure of almost 40 degrees from our 59-degree record high on Thursday.
Our first push of arctic air moves in overnight Friday with Saturday morning temperatures dropping into the teens.
Skies clear but that won’t help with temperatures on Saturday and Sunday. A second more potent push of arctic air comes in Monday with highs in the upper 20s we could see some accumulating snowfall.
Then the actual colder air moves in with temperatures in the teens Tuesday and Wednesday.
Our 10-day forecast does have us recovering into the 40s by next week after a 6-day bitterly cold siege of temperatures directly from the Arctic Circle.
