Big changes came to our weather pattern Tuesday, due to a cold front that passed through the region. This front brought us a period of rain early in the morning (only 0.09″ at the Fort Wayne Airport since midnight), falling temperatures through the day, and windy conditions, too.
Take a look at the highest wind gust speeds that were experienced across the region since Monday at midday, when the winds started to pick up. Fort Wayne tops the list with a maximum wind gust of 45 mph.
Conditions remain windy on Wednesday with sustained winds around 20 mph during the day. Peak wind gusts will be strong, but not as strong as Tuesday’s. Wednesday’s highest gusts will be around 30 mph.
