If you notice tonight’s full moon is a little bit brighter and bigger, you aren’t wrong, tonight is a Supermoon! This means that the moon is at its closest point to Earth in its orbit. This full moon will appear about 14% larger and 30% brighter than it usually does. The moon will rise at 5:44 pm. Skies at that time will be mostly clear, but clouds look to increase through the overnight. So if you want to catch a glimpse of the Supermoon make sure to head out earlier tonight.
