At 3:25AM this morning, Fort Wayne International Airport recorded a temperature of 21°. That’s the coldest thermometer reading of fall so far, besting yesterday’s low of 22°. Today’s low of 21° is well below average, but not quite record-breaking – the record is 17° set back in 1950. The last time we were 21° or colder? That was all the way back on March 16th! We should not be quite as cold in the nights ahead.
