Our Friday kicks off with fall’s coldest morning so far ((temps near 20°)) and we end up with our lowest high temp since March by the afternoon ((only in the low 30s)).
So, one can easily imagine that this week’s Friday night football games will be the coldest that fans have experienced all season long. At kickoff and throughout the games, temperatures will be fairly steady – around 25°! While this is certainly cold, the good news is the winds won’t be as strong as they were on Thursday. However, even with a 5-10 mph wind from the NE, wind chill values will drop into the teens.
