If you’ve been wondering where all of the 100°+ heat has been bottled up recently, our friends in the Pacific Northwest know the answer to that all too well. Portland, OR topped off at an incredible 105° on Thursday, just 2° shy of their all-time warmest thermometer reading. Seattle has also seen the heat, but has been spared from triple-digit heat, but not for a good reason: smoke from wildfires.
