Near-average temps for the first half of July

Today marks the halfway point through the month of July and according to observations over the past 2 weeks, our temperatures have averaged out to be close to what we should typically see this time of year. On our month calendar recap above, you can see a mix of above and below average days, along with several average days. In total, we’re running slightly below average – less than 1°. So, that means we’ve really been right around average.  But, the last half of the month may be a warm one. The Climate Prediction Center agrees with the Live Doppler 15 Fury Storm Team: Mother Nature will dial up the thermostat by the middle of next week.
