Paulding County hit hardest by Thursday night storms

Have you heard about Paulding County (or Cecil…or Emerald Township), but aren’t exactly sure of the location?  Then, check out the video posted along with this story, and I’ll fill you-in.

In talking to colleagues at the National Weather Service Northern Indiana Office tonight, I’ve learned they will be sending a crew to survey the damage on Friday morning to determine if it was caused by straight-line winds or if a tornado (with rotating winds) was the cause of the significant damage that included a number of power lines down, structural damage to buildings, and debris thrown 1/4 of a mile from its original location.
