Warmer air comes to an end by Friday

Forecast models show much cooler air moving in by the end of the week, bringing in more average temperatures and a flow of winds from the northwest.

Yesterday I told you about how far above average area temperatures would be this week. Well, inevitably what happens in a situation like this is that temperatures will bounce back to more seasonal averages. That’s exactly what will happen Friday. Instead the strong south winds we’ll experience through Wednesday and Thursday, which in turn bring warmer air from the Gulf of Mexico into the area, we will see cooler, drier air moving in from the north.

This takes temperatures back down into the 70s by Friday and we hold those temperatures through the weekend.
