The new 8 to 14-day outlook for temperatures and precipitation is interesting. It takes temperatures down to average ranges through much of the middle and end of the month. That would feature temperatures in the lower to middle 60s from April 18-24.
The other interesting part of this outlook is for precipitation. It keeps the entire area in the wetter than average pattern we’ve been experiencing already this spring.
So far this month we’ve had 2.03″ of rain, the average is 1.20″, so we are .83″ above average so far this April and not even halfway through the month.
So far for the spring, we are even farther above average. In fact, since March 1 we’ve seen 5.84″ of rain, the average is 3.91″, that’s 1.93″ above average.
