An approaching cold front on Monday will keep winds gusty and temperatures in the 70s. By the time the front moves closer during the afternoon and evening, it will kick off a few showers and storms. The latest forecast models show that a line of showers and storms may form just ahead of the front as it moves through northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio. The Storm Prediction Center has said that there is a slight risk that some of these storms may become strong to severe.
With this setup, and the possibility of a squall line moving through, the biggest threat will be for some damaging wind gusts, possibly over 50 mph. Heavy rain and large hail will also be possible. This line will quickly exit our area by Tuesday morning. Keep checking back for the latest on this severe weather potential!
