Our March rain gauge is running just a bit below average (by 0.34″). We’ll have a chance to make up some of that deficit here on Monday. Some scattered rain showers will be likely by Monday morning, perhaps even for your early commute. The best chance for rain right now looks to be from mid-morning into the afternoon before rain tapers off during the evening hours. A few pockets of moderate rain will be possible, along with a rumble or two of thunder – but no severe weather is expected at this time.
Rain gauge totals look to be on the order of 0.1″ to 0.25″ for most, though a few places may see a bit more, especially in any thunderstorms.
