Rash of robbery attempts continues

A man left empty-handed after attempting an armed robbery at the Phillips 66 station on S. Calhoun Street early Saturday. As of 10 a.m. the FWPD has not said whether or not the suspect has been found.

The event begins at 12 p.m. Saturday and ends at 1 a.m. Sunday in Columbia City. Guests are asked to bring their own design.

The driver of one of the vehicles involved in a two-vehicle crash in DeKalb County on Friday evening suffered fractures to her pelvis. The passenger of the vehicle suffered head contusions, and a two-month-old baby in vehicle suffered a laceration to the head.
