Federal judge blocks Indiana abortion law

The law, which was set to take effect Friday, would have banned abortions that are sought due to fetal genetic abnormalities, such as Down syndrome, or because of the race, sex or ancestry of a fetus.

Government urges owners of old Hondas to get air bags fixed

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said Thursday that it has data showing that chances are as high as 50 percent that the inflators can explode in a crash, injuring people by sending metal shrapnel into the passenger compartments.

The department announced Thursday that it received a donation of Naloxone kits, or Narcan, from Overdose Lifeline, Inc., along with grant funding from the Indiana Attorney General’s office.
