Swanigan Nets Team-High 13 Points In U19 Team USA Victory

Homestead High School graduate and Purdue-bound big man Caleb Swanigan tied for the team lead with 13 points as the United States U19 National Team defeated Egypt 92-50 in pool play at the FIBA World Championships on Tuesday.

Evacuations possible after dams open

Water is being released from dams at Roush Lake and the Salamonie Reservoir because of record rainfall so officials are taking precautions in case that excess water flowing into the Wabash River creates extreme flooding.

Indiana narrows possible routes for final I-69 segment

The five routes include Indiana 37. Federal and state officials identified that state highway in 2004 as the best possible route to complete the roughly 142-mile I-69 extension between Evansville and Indianapolis.
