Residents escape New Haven house fire

NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WANE) – Crews worked to put out a house fire in New Haven in freezing temperatures. It happened around 6:30 Tuesday night.

Firefighters on scene said everyone in the home was able to escape. When firefighters showed up there were visible flames coming from the back of the house.

The fire was quickly contained and put out. There were no injuries. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
