Police search for missing driver, one critically hurt in crash

Officers were called to the intersection of Moeller Road and Woodland Drive around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WANE) Police are searching for a driver in a two-vehicle crash that left one person in critical condition.

Officers were called to the intersection of Moeller Road and Woodland Drive around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. Investigators said a black Chevy Trailblazer was headed east on Moeller Road when the driver crossed the center line and hit a westbound pickup truck. The driver of the truck was taken to a hospital in serious condition. He was later downgraded to critical condition.

Police are looking for the driver of the Trailblazer, who ran from the scene. She’s described as a woman in her late teens to early 20s, wearing black pants and a flannel shirt.
