Rescue Mission feeds more than 2,000

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) More than 2,000 people had their Christmas Day dinners at the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission.

The meal was served at the Mission on Superior Street downtown.

Anyone in need was able to eat the meal.

The Mission serves three meals a day year round, but the Christmas meal is served to many more.

More than 200 volunteers help prepare and serve the food.
