Ronald McDonald visited children at the Parkview Women’s and Children’s Hospital on Wednesday. The visit was a joint effort by the hospital and other community organizations to spread holiday cheer.
Parkview officials said the holidays can be a difficult time for patients. Organizers from McDonald’s said they wanted the public to know the company wants to be known for more than just providing food.
“Ronald is our mascot. He’s the CEO of happiness. We want people to realize McDonald’s is more than just a hamburger – that we actually try to spread joy in the community.”
