‘Sensitive Santa’ event hosted by Fort Wayne Autism Center

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – The Fort Wayne Autism Center hosts its 2nd annual “Sensitive Santa” event.

It allows children who have been diagnosed with autism to enjoy time with Santa and Mrs. Clause.

Organizers say it Santa, the children, and their families can enjoy the time together in a non-retail environment – without noise and bright lights.

In addition to spending to with Santa in a safe and quiet environment, everyone who visited could take pictures with the popular couple.

Fort Wayne Autism Center also set up sensory tables and a hot chocolate bar. Families could also enjoy Christmas cookies and crafts.
