Suicidal subject near North Webster captured by police

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) – A suicidal subject near North Webster has been captured by police, according to Indiana DNR.

An alert was issued at 8:18 p.m. for people near the Tri-County Fish and Wildlife Area to stay inside and lock their doors.

Police were looking for 20-year-old Michael D. Miller of Twinsburg, Ohio. Police said Miller was on foot and armed with a shotgun.

At 8:37 p.m., DNR officials said Miller was in police custody and a threat to the public no longer existed.

DNR and the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department is investigating.
