Police investigate robbery at Dollar General

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – The Fort Wayne Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at Dollar General.

Officers were called to Dollar General on Bluffton Road on Sunday, December 4 on report of an armed robbery.

Officers were dispatched around 7:40 a.m. to the store, located at 6320 Bluffton Rd.

It’s unclear how many suspects police are looking for or how many people were inside the store during the robbery. Officers did however, confirm that no one was injured.

Police have not said if the suspect or suspects got away with anything.

This is the third reported armed robbery in three days. On December 2, a male suspect entered a Chase Bank and presented a note to the bank teller demanding cash. On December 3, 3 people were arrested in connection with a robbery at 1st Source Bank.
