FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE)  – The (11-1) Saint Francis Cougars have made it to the Final Four of the NAIA Championship series and will head down to Reinhardt University in Georgia on Saturday to take on the (13-0) Eagles with  a trip to the national championship on the line.

The No. 4 Cougars punched their ticket to the NAIA Semifinals with a 42-35 come-from-behind win over Morningside last week. The Cougars were paced by Justin Green’s school record 296 rushing yards. The No. 3 Eagles blanked an injury ravished Montana Tech team 27-0 in their quarterfinal game.

Reinhardt enters the game as one of the two undefeated teams in the NAIA. The last team to beat them was Saint Francis last year in the opening round of the playoffs. The Cougars held off the Eagles in a 37-26 win in snowy conditions.

This year’s playoff meeting will take place in Reinhardt territory in Waleska Georgia where it is expected to be 55 and clear on game day. The game kicks off at 1:30PM.
