FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – 4A no. 10 North Side took down 1A no. 3 Blackhawk Christian 78-55 behind 24 points from DePaul recruit Jaylen Butz on a busy night of basketball in northeast Indiana.

Keion Brooks Jr. added 21 points for the Legends. Blackhawk was led by Kole Barkhaus with 14 points while Jalen Mull chipped in 13.

At Canterbury the 2A no. 10 Cavaliers fell to Bishop Luers 69-53. Anton Berry led all scorers with 30 points on 13-of-21 shooting for the Knights. J.J. Foster Jr. added 12 points while Ray Walker scored 10 for Luers. Canterbury was led by Michael Brothers with 17 points and Cam Kreiger with 16.

In girls hoops 3A no. 11 Bishop Dwenger defeated visiting Columbia City 61-33 behind a big night from Jada Smith. Smith tallied 15 points and eight steals to lead Dwenger while Natalie Mowery chipped in 10 points in a balanced offensive attack.
