Concordia celebrates Cadets state championship win

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Concordia High School celebrated their first football state championship win with a pep rally Monday.

The Cadets won 56-14 against Lawrenceburg at Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday, November 26.

Throughout the game, Concordia kept up dominant offense. Concordia quarterback Peter Morrison set a new all-time passing touchdown record with six. The previous record was five. Morrison also set a new 3A record for most passing yards in a game with 376.

This was Concordia’s first appearance at the IHSAA State Football Championship.
