Over 100 parents and children join Santa for breakfast

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – About 150 parents and children arrived at the Embassy Theatre Friday morning to have breakfast with Santa Claus. The event sold out the day after tickets went on sale in early November.

Santa and Mrs. Claus led the children and their families down the aisle to a stage where Santa’s elves greeted them. Everyone received breakfast from McDonald’s and a holiday cookie from Cookie Cottage. Children made their own photo holiday ornaments, participated in a sing-along with Santa and Mrs. Claus and a magic show with Ronald McDonald.

After breakfast, guests were invited to enjoy the Festival of Trees.

Embassy Theatre’s Special Events Manager, Leah Schoenle spoke with NewsChannel 15 about the event and said parents report that the event is a wonderful experience.

The event continues Saturday and Sunday.
