Komets fall to division leader Toledo

TOLEDO, Ohio (WANE) – After picking up an emotional win over Kalamazoo Thursday the Komets fell to Central Division leader Toledo 7-1 at the Huntington Center.

The Komets scored first as Garrett Thompson lit the lamp in the first. But the Walleye tied the game soon after to take a 3-1 lead into the first intermission

Matt Caito scored a hat trick for the Walleye.

The Komets are back in action Saturday hosting Quad City at the Coliseum.
