FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – 3A no. 9 Concordia put on a defensive clinic as the Cadets handed East Noble its first loss of the season by defeated the Knights 35-21 to headline area girls basketball action on Tuesday night.

Sylare Starks paced Concordia with 15 points as the Cadets moved to 4-0 on the season. East Noble fell to 4-1 with the loss. The Knights were led by Kara Kline with eight points.

At Kilmer Court it was Kyla Covington leading the way with 24 points as Snider downed Columbia City 75-45. Daysianae Hinton added 14 while Peytin Chamble chipped in with 12 for the Panthers.

Carroll took down Huntington North 73-62 behind 17 points from Laney Steckler. Alyssa Kimes and Becca Villanueva each added 12 for the Chargers. Rileigh Johnson led the Vikings with 17 points.
