FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – The official start of the holiday season got underway Saturday night.
Jefferson Pointe flipped the switch on its Christmas Tree. The tallest tree in Fort Wayne is synchronized to music and will now be on display through the holiday season. The lights will dance nightly to music every half hour between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m.
Santa Claus hovered over the outdoor mall with help of Lutheran Air. Live reindeer were also on hand near the tree.
Music at the lighting was provided by “School of Rock.”
