Three power play goals not enough as Komets fall in overtime

TULSA, Okla. – The Komets scored three power play goals on Wednesday night – including one with 25 seconds left in regulation to force overtime – but ultimately fell to the Tulsa Oilers 4-3 in OT.

Dan DeSalvo’s goal in overtime was the difference for the Oilers.

Jamie Schaafsma, Shawn Szydlowski, and Kyle Thomas each found the net for the Komets.

Eric Hartzell stopped 32-of-36 shots for the Komets.

The Komets now travel to Missouri to play at 8:05 p.m. Eastern.
