FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Seven seniors as Snider put pen to paper on Wednesday morning as the early signing period began – and that includes basketball standout Malik Williams inking with Louisville.
Williams, considered one of the front-runners for Indiana Mr. Basketball, verbally committed to Louisville on August 4, selecting the Cardinals over Indiana, Purdue, Michigan State, and UCLA among others.
A six-foot-eleven big man, recruiting website Rivals.com ranks him as the no. 35 players in the country for the class of 2017. ESPN ranks him 42nd.
Swimming standout Jordyn Polderman signed with Toledo while fellow swimmer Jacob Steele picked Indiana University.
Trevor Armstrong will continue his baseball career at IPFW.
Volleyball standouts Nyssa Baker (IU Kokomo), Sam Wigfield (IU East), and Emma Habisch (Wisconsin Parkside) also signed for college.
