AUBURN, Ind. (WANE) The southbound lanes of Interstate 69 were closed for an hour midday Tuesday while crews worked a vehicle fire there.

The fire was reported just after 2:30 p.m. near the 329 milemarker, just north of the Auburn-Garrett S.R. 8 interchange. Dispatchers told NewsChannel 15 nobody was injured.

The interstate reopened around 3:30 p.m.
