INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WANE)  Indiana State Police are asking for help in finding the driver of a car who shot at a semi during a road rage incident on I-70 in Indianapolis late Tuesday morning.

Police received a call about shots fired on I-70 just near Rural Street just before 11 a.m. The driver of a semi had called 911 to say he had been shot at by someone in a passing vehicle.  The driver of the vehicle then exited off I-70 onto East Street.  At least one bullet struck the semi, breaking the driver’s side window.  The semi driver was not injured.

The vehicle is believed to be an older tan Oldsmobile Aurora with a temporary paper plate on the right side of the back window.  The Olds had entered I-70 westbound from Rural Street and was occupied by two men, only described as black males.
