FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Indiana candidate for State Representative, 52nd District, Democrat Charlie Odier wants to help young people and advocate for American jobs.
Odier has a history been active in inspiring young people from his old job to get involved in the political process.
“I took young people down to the statehouse and I took them Washington D.C. to meet their representatives,” Odier said.
Odier believes in advocating for American workers and keeping products made in America. He said sending jobs to Mexico has lead to a loss of jobs. He was the first person to deliver the petition for the “Employee Free Choice Act,” which makes it easier for workers to join a union.
Odier is running against Republican incumbent Ben Smaltz. He ran for the position in 2014. To view a sample ballot for your district, visit Ballotpedia.
