Suspect demanded narcotics from pharmacy safe, police said

AUBURN, Ind. (WANE) Police in Auburn are searching for a man who held up a CVS store early Friday.

Police were called just after 8 a.m. Friday to the CVS at the intersection of Seventh Street and Grandstaff Drive in Auburn on a report of a robbery. There, police said a man showed a black handgun and demanded specific drugs from the safe in the pharmacy, according to Auburn Police.

The man then ran off with the narcotics.

Police said the man – a large-build man described as possibly Hispanic – was dressed in light-colored blue jeans and a grey hooded sweatshirt with a logo on the left chest area. He also had a white hat on. A surveillance camera inside the store captured images of the suspect.
