‘Rally the vote’ encourages you to exercise your voting right

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Thousands have already waited in lines to early vote in Allen County. Some waited up to three hours. However, there are still some voters who are undecided and some groups are encouraging them to get out and vote.


Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana, the League of Women Voters and Progressive Social Hour will host the second annual Rally the Vote Thursday evening. According to a press release, the event’s purpose is to promote civic engagement and increase voter turnout for the election.

Rally the Vote runs from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Fort Wayne Art Museum. The location is just a block away from the Rousseau Center where early voting is open until 9 p.m.

The nonpartisan event will feature snacks, games and informational materials about your right to vote.
