Police raid north-side ‘party house’

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Fort Wayne Police raided a north-side “party house” Wednesday afternoon and arrested four people.

Just before 5 p.m. Wednesday, police served a search warrant at 901 Forest Ave., two blocks south of East State Boulevard near Northside Park.

Det. Kevin Hunter with the Fort Wayne Police Department told NewsChannel 15 that the home was a known “party house.” The warrant was in response to numerous complaints from the neighborhood about loud parties, underage drinking, and a shooting that occurred there on October 16. Nine people were in the home at the time of the raid, Hunter said.
