Spooktacular concert to haunt IPFW campus

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Spooky ghosts, vampires and witches will haunt the halls of the Rhinehart Music Center on the IPFW campus for the annual “Halloween Spooktacular” concert, featuring classical music and ballet.

The event will Sunday, October 30 beginning at 2 p.m., with pre-concert activities starting at 1 p.m.

“Spooktacular” is programmed to be family friendly in length, engaging patrons of all ages in the joys of classical music. Musical selections will include Mussorgsky’s “Night on Bald Mountain,” Saint-Saëns’ “Danse macabre,” and Bernard Herrmann’s “Pyscho suite” from the 1960 film.

Activities for children will be available, such as face painting, coloring, and crafts. The Fort Wayne Youth Ballet Company will also perform.
