FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE)- A Bluffton man is facing more than 40 felony charges after police said he uploaded pictures of women and children onto a pornographic website.

Some of those victims were 45-year-old Kurt Kemp’s own family members, others live in Wells County. One of the women who was targeted is speaking out and so Kemp’s daughter.

They are two women with two very different views of Kemp. One only learned who he was when she found out her pictures were on a pornographic website, the other is having a difficult time believing the man who raised her would do this.

They were just innocent pictures posted to Facebook. Jenise Danels with her newborn son, shared on Facebook for family and friends to see. Danels said she was horrified to learn they ended up on a porn website with lewd comments underneath.

” I went through the site and I saw all the different pictures of women and children,” she said. “It was absolutely horrid.”

Authorities said Kemp is the man behind the postings. According to court documents, more than 2,000 posts came from two usernames believed to be associated with Kemp.

“I have never heard of this guy,” said Danels. “I don’t have him on facebook. We have no mutual friends.”

Danels is one of many women and children who were targeted, but she was one of the lucky ones. Some of the photos show nude women and children.

Authorities said Kemp uploaded pictures of his daughters and grandchildren to a site that would Photoshop their faces onto nude bodies. Kemp faces 41 felony charges including charges of child exploitation and possession of child pornography. Kemp’s daughter Allison said she wasn’t on the site and she’s surprised to hear of his arrest.

“How did I not catch on to it?” said Allison Kemp. “Because off and on I’ve lived with him. How did I not see anything.”

It’s an eye-opener for both Kemp and Danels. Danels said she’s much more careful what she posts on Facebook.

“I made sure all my settings were private,” she said. “And I’ve even went through my friends and deleted people I don’t remember who they were.”

Kemp is in the Wells County Jail on a 240-thousand-dollar bond. He’s due in court in December.
